PRIVACY — DEXIE BY PRODEX
Effective 2026-09-13 · Dexie by PRODEX is the iOS companion app for PRODEX, operated by EVALIX
What the app is
Dexie by PRODEX is a window into the PRODEX workspace your organization already uses. It keeps no separate copy of your business data. Everything it shows or says follows the same access rules as your seat in the PRODEX web app. Your organization's administrator decides who may use the app.
What the app stores on your device
- A revocable access token for your seat, kept in the iOS Keychain and protected by Face ID or your device passcode. Your password is never entered on, sent to, or stored by this app.
- Your app preferences (language, voice replies on or off, response pace).
- A cache of your recent conversation with Dexie (the last messages, as text), so the conversation is where you left it when you reopen the app. Dexie's replies can include information from your workspace that your seat is allowed to see.
- Notes queued while you were offline, until they are sent.
De-linking the device (in the app: Settings → De-link this device; or on the web: PRODEX Settings → API tokens → revoke the device's token) removes all of the above from the device immediately.
Voice and audio
Dexie listens only after you tap — never in the background, never ambiently. Audio is turned into text and discarded. For English, Spanish and German the transcription happens on your device using Apple's speech recognition; nothing leaves the phone. For Hebrew the audio is sent to our servers, transcribed by Google Cloud Speech-to-Text, and not retained. Dexie's spoken replies are generated by Google Cloud Text-to-Speech through our servers. No audio recording is ever stored, on the device or on our servers.
Meeting capture
The capture feature records a meeting only while you keep it running, and only after you start it. The audio is transcribed as described above and discarded. The transcript and Dexie's summary are saved to your PRODEX workspace and are visible only to you — not to your administrator or colleagues — unless you deliberately file a note or task from it. You are responsible for telling the people in the room that a transcript is being made, where the law requires it.
Content you send through Siri or the share sheet
When you ask Siri to send something to Dexie, or share it to Dexie, the content of that item (the text of an email or message, a contact's name and number, a file) is delivered to Dexie and becomes part of your conversation with her, stored in your PRODEX workspace under your seat like anything you type. Dexie proposes what to do with it and files nothing without your confirmation. Only what you choose to send reaches her; the app never reads your mail, messages or contacts on its own.
What we collect and why
- Your name and PRODEX user identifier — to link the device to your seat.
- Your messages to Dexie and the transcripts of what you say — to answer you, and kept in your PRODEX workspace exactly like messages you type on the web.
- Diagnostic reports when the app fails (error text, app version, device model) — to fix defects. They never include audio.
We do not use any of this for advertising, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Who processes your data
To provide the service we use these processors, each bound to process data only on our behalf: Apple (on-device speech recognition; the data does not leave your device), Google Cloud (speech-to-text for Hebrew, and text-to-speech), Anthropic (the AI model behind Dexie's answers, receiving only the text needed to answer your request), and our hosting provider for the PRODEX servers. We do not sell your data.
Retention and deletion
Data on the device is removed when you de-link it. Conversations, transcripts and anything filed from them live in your PRODEX workspace and follow your organization's PRODEX retention. Your PRODEX account is created and removed by your organization's administrator; deleting the app alone does not delete your account. To request deletion of your data, contact your administrator or us at the address below.
